All our suppliers are within 15 miles of the Farm Shop and deliver twice a week. We can source meat from a number of local producers, so if you don’t see what you are looking for then give us a call.

 

We also from time to time have speciality breed pork; for more information, please ask when you come in!

We have three main meat suppliers who have been chosen to deliver their amazing Free Range meat to our Farm Shop:

Taste Tradition supply most of the meat sold at the shop; including Leg of Pork, Pork Loins, Chops and belly, including diced pork for an amazing sweet and sour.


Nestled at the top of Sutton Bank in the North York Moors National Park, the Ashbridge family has farmed at Cold Kirby for 3 generations. The traditional methods of breeding, rearing and finishing livestock used in our grandfathers' days are still evident in their protocols. The combination of outdoor rearing and the breeds is quite simply incredible taste - ‘the proof of the pudding is in the eating’ as they say.

Taste Tradition at at Spring House Farm Shop

Taste Tradition specialise in Rare and Traditional Breed Pigs and Rare/Native Breed Cattle and Sheep. Their farming methods bring out the very best in the breeds that they rear and, in turn, produce extremely high quality, beautifully tasting pork, beef and lamb. The Rare Breed Suckling Piglet is their specialty.

Masham Sausages at Spring House Farm Shop

Masham Sausages deliver to our Farm Shop twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays. A family business from Ripon, run by Paul & Michelle Dennis; their business’ success is down to the quality of the

products, good quality meat, and the best quality seasonings.. Also the ability to manufacture 25 different varieties of sausages per day and deliver fresh nationwide the following day!

 

We stock a variety of Masham Sausages at Spring House Farm Shop; however if you don’t see what you fancy, just ask! We can always order in for you. If you are not keen on pork sausages then why not try their chicken, beef, venison, wild boar or lamb sausages?

Langthorne Buffalo is a family run farm spread over 400 acres, whose herd has grown to over 300 in the last 10 years.

 

Situated at Brompton, near Northallerton, Langthrone Buffalo supply Spring House Farm Shop with Buffalo burgers, spare ribs, local spring lamb, and a variety of burgers including iron age pig, lamb and mint, venison and orange and venison and bore.
